Simplifying fiscal complexity and transforming challenges into sustainable decisions: this has been the guiding mission of FA ACCOUNTING from day one.
In an interview, Daniel da Rocha Cardoso, Accounting & Management Consultant, reveals how the company has evolved beyond traditional accounting by focusing on a close relationship with clients, technological innovation, and a strategic vision.
What was the purpose behind the creation of FA ACCOUNTING, and how does this mission continue to guide your work in the accounting and consulting sector?
FA ACCOUNTING was born with a clear purpose: to simplify the financial lives of people and businesses. From the beginning, our mission has been to translate fiscal complexity into practical solutions, oriented toward making conscious and sustainable decisions. We work side-by-side with our clients, not just to ensure compliance with legal obligations, but to add real value to their business and personal journeys.
What have been the main milestones and strategies that have contributed to the company’s sustained growth over recent years?
Our growth is due to three fundamental pillars: proximity, trust, and constant adaptation. We stand out by working with international communities that choose Portugal as a destination, offering a completely personalized service. Investing in cloud technology, creating international tax consulting services, and the continuous training of our team have been crucial. Our reputation has grown organically, driven by direct recommendations from our own clients.
Innovation is now a key factor in brand differentiation.
What new solutions or approaches have you been implementing to respond to the current challenges in your sector?
We are investing in the integration of tools with artificial intelligence, automation of fiscal processes, and digital interfaces that allow clients to access their data in real time. Furthermore, we have developed personalized fiscal simulation models for freelancers, expatriates, and entrepreneurs, facilitating the projection of financial scenarios and more informed choices.
With 2025 underway, what goals have been set for this year, and how do you plan to continue to consolidate FA ACCOUNTING’s presence as a reference brand in the national market?
2025 will be a year of strategic expansion and digital reinforcement. We intend to launch an exclusive tool for clients, with simplified access to documents, deadlines, and reports. We will also continue to grow internationally, with the goal of being a bridge between those who arrive in Portugal and the national tax system. We want to be more than accountants—we want to be trusted partners in the management of our clients’ financial lives.
